FAQ



Do I need to see a doctor before I can start therapy?


Yes, We are a referral based facility.  That means that we must have a signed prescription from a doctor to be able to schedule and bill your insurance.


How long does a session last?

                Your Initial Evaluation will take anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes. Follow up visits will be an average of 45-60 minutes depending on your personalized therapy routine.

 
What should I expect on the first visit?


                When you first arrive our front desk staff will review with you any insurance information as well as have paperwork for you to fill out. We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes early to be able to complete our patient paperwork. Once you have been called back the Initial Evaluation is one on one with the Physical Therapist. During this time you can expect a review of past history, measurements of treating body part, and a physical therapy plan to be created.

 
What should I wear?


                 We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes as if you would be working out. We also HIGHLY recommend that you wear close toed shoes.

 
What forms of payments do you accept?

                We accept all major credit cards, cash, checks, and CareCredit.


Do I need to verify my insurance before I come?


                No, our trained front desk staff will verify your insurance and identify what your responsibility will be each visit as well as any limitations you may have.

 
Can I schedule all my appointments at once?


                Yes, after your first visit with us we can schedule all follow ups. We recommend that if you have any times that you specifically need that you book them as far out as possible to ensure you are able to get that time.

 
Do you charge for canceled or missed appointment?

                No, we do not have a fee for appointments that are missed or canceled. We do appreciate a 24 hour notice if you will be canceling so that we can possibly schedule in that time slot.

 
Can I take a tour of your facility?

                Yes, but only during times when patients are not being treated. The best thing to do is call before so we can ensure that a member of our staff will be available to walk you through and answer any questions you may have.
